Autumn / Winter Interior Inspiration
Although the temperature this weekend flirted with the 20° mark, there’s no denying that the colder months are approaching. Just as the lighter, brighter items in my wardrobe are getting pushed out in favour of Autumnal layers, I’ve been turning my eye towards interiors with a warmer aesthetic.
This Stockholm based apartment was styled by Josefin Hååg for owner at the time Emily Laye and it’s ticking all the boxes. ‘Griege’ walls, leather upholstery and dark wood make up a soft, neutral colour scheme that when combined with some elegant design-classic lighting and home furnishings creates a warm and sophisticated living space.
The furniture and lighting choices in this apartment are spot on in my book. The Poul Kjærholm designed PK22 chair in classic black leather, the Alvar Aalto A330S pendant light and Achille Castiglioni Taccia Lamp are personal highlights and the leather magazine rack strap in the bedroom has just shot straight to the top of my wishlist.
