I wear a watch every day and I have a go-to selection of minimal pieces that make up my weekly rotation. For the last week or so I’ve had the pleasure of trying out a brand new piece.
Now, too often I read a review that says “for years I never wore a watch but this new [insert brand name] has changed all that. This isn’t the case for me. However, what the new ‘Tailor’ from Fredrick Jackson has given my collection is a bit of variation.
The thing about about modern day watch designs is that they can sometimes have a tendency to be a bit ‘samesie’ for lack of a better word. The tailor watch is minimal in design but features a few standout details, namely the contrast stitching and matching coloured hands on the dial. An engraved monogram on the buckle and crown are nice finishing touches.
Wedding season is in full swing and I’ll be celebrating another friend’s next weekend. If you ask who my plus 1 is I’ll be saying #ImWithTailor – head over to my Instagram to see what I’ll be wearing come Friday.
