What is the Flavourly Craft Beer Discovery Club?

It’s pretty simple really. Flavourly offer the chance for all craft beer fans to discover a world of new brews from the comfort of their own home – red ales, pale ales, stouts, session IPA’s – they’re all here.

If the name sounds familiar, it may because back in 2015 founder Ryan O’Rorke shocked viewers of BBC hit show Dragon’s Den by rejecting offers from FOUR of the Dragon’s. Instead, Ryan and Flavourly went on to raise four times the amount offered through crowdfunding service Crowdcube.

3 years on and Flavourly has built a huge community of beer, whiskey and gin aficionados who read, review and share their thoughts on the drinks on offer at Flavourly. In their own words, Flavourly are adventurers and explorers who are all about helping you find drinks you’ll love, hearing your views and then finding more drinks you’ll love even more.

Subscribers to the Craft Beer Discovery Club will be treated with a selection of 10 new flavours every month. You’ll also receive a copy of their monthly magazine in which you’ll find out more about the beers and the micro breweries and brands who brew them.

This month’s feature brand was Panda Brew. One of the chief innovators of the fledgling Chinese scene, Panda Brew’s Beijing brewpub has become a haven for beer geeks, a two-floor mecca for good beer and good times. With a different flavour palate than the UK to contend with, Panda Brew have sought to develop incredibly balanced beers that put as much (if not more) emphasis on the malts as they do on the hops.

The Honey Red Ale wasn’t to our liking but that’s what this club is all about – finding out what is and what isn’t to your taste. Try it, and let us know what you think.
