First look at Arket
The debut collection from Arket has just been unveiled. H&M Group’s new brand means “a sheet of paper” in Swedish, a nod to its minimal Scandinavian roots. Introduced as a lifestyle brand back in March 2017, Arket plans to focus on sustainabilty, durability and quality. Creative Director Ulrika Bernhardtz has said that H&M Group’s 11th brand will conform to the principals of Nordic design in creating functional, long lasting design (in the form of menswear, womenswear and homeware).
Today, we’ve finally got to see a snapshot of the Arket debut collection. A selection of clean staple pieces including a handful of strong outerwear pieces for AW17. According to the @Artek Instagram account, the collection is set to launch on August 25th at their store on Regent Street in London with a special pre-shop available to subscribers on August 23rd.
